You are the fresh wind in the heat of the day The calm in the midst of any storm You drive all pain away When I feel I can't go on In silence, You are the still that calms all my fears In sadness, You are the joy that dries all my tears In despair, You are the hope that my soul holds on to Your Word is the only Way that always sees me through The Holy One, Source of all, You are the matchless King Omnipotent, Omnipresent Lord, You are my everything.
Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is with those who uphold my life. Psalm 54:4 NKJV
Now...is not the time to give up. Now...is the time to proclaim the victory that is yours. Now...is the not the time to focus on what's not. Now is the time to attend to what is. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1 NKJV).
Now...I feel a shift in the atmosphere. Now...I feel as if I'm on the brink of something great. Now...I feel His hand of mercy. ...so glad circumstances don't determine my fate. Now...I can sense His presence and the peace He brings. Now...I am grateful for His love, His power...my heart sings in the NOW!
Words do have power Your response determines how much Words can tear you down or build you up And be felt as if a touch
Words do have power So be mindful of how you use Think before speaking of the power you're leaking Your intent can leaving a lasting bruise.
Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. ~ Ephesians 4:29 NKJV
Yes, I did that, that was me I was guilty of that, until He set me free Yes, I said that, until my tongue was bridled I'm ashamed of that, when I put others before Him as idols Now I am forgiven, no I won't look back Cause God as merciful as He is, has forgiven me for that.
As we grow in grace living the life God called is calling us to live, we are sometimes reminded of our past: who we were, what we did. Guilt becomes our name as we begin to identify ourselves with "that": the sin and the shame that results from the sin. We forget God paid the ultimate price on the Cross of Calvary, so we could live free with purpose, on purpose. His unconditional love abounds as His grace keeps us moment by moment. Our "that" has been forgiven. So when others remind you of your past, you remind them of the Cross.

I am a woman of God, I am a woman of faith, I cannot be swayed otherwise. The Regulator, the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, just won't let me compromise. I am strong, I am secure, I am humbled at His feet. I am triumphant, walking in victory...no despair, no defeat. I am blessed and highly favored, living an abundant life. I am running and I won't quit...no room for misery and strife. I am trusting in His Word, standing on His promises, seeking everything He has in store for me. I am, I am, I am striving to be the woman He's called me to be.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made...Psalm 139:14 NKJV

Today, I release every weight and every burden, and I surrender my will. Today, I will not worry about problems, my needs He will fulfill. Today, I will not participate in parties of pity, or dances with despair. Today, I will acknowledge His presence, for I know He's always there. Today, I will guard my mind, that it will be filled with more of Him. Today, I will trust Him alone, not him, her, or them. Today, I will be grateful for His love, mercy, and peace. Today, I expect great things...as His glory is released.
Woke up with expectation Lifted hands, humble heart Eyes open, lips part to say thank you Lord, for a new start
Ready for what God has in store New mercies and opportunities ...truly grateful from my core
Open to receive His instructions for the day Admitting I know nothing, but He is the way How can I fail? How can I lose? With Christ all things are possible when Him, I choose
He is and will always be...who He is The One who rescued me From sin and shame He knows my heart, He knows my name
I can cause He is I will cause He did All powerful, He is He died, He did
Life of mercy, grace, and peace Cause I surrendered..my life I released.
Tossed and turned by the winds of life Your heart is filled with misery and strife Dark, lonely, filled with despair Feeling empty, need His presence to know He's really there In and out, up and down trials you continue to face Faith tested and tried but don't compromise Enter into the Holy Place As you go through, what you must do As you wonder how much more to take Stand, stand strong it can't last too long Bend, but don't break.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Ephesians 6:10 NKJV

Discovering the greatness within does not come without challenges and adversity. We are built and equipped to do great things for the Kingdom of God and the enemy is well aware of our ability if we tap into our Source that produces the light within. Life presents various trials that can result in pain, heartache, and disappointments. Our response to each trial depends on our connection to the Source. For example, in an unfamiliar dark setting, we are subject to lose our way, we may become disoriented or bewildered, or we may suffer injury. However, if we turn the light on, we can see clearly without frustration and we can navigate without hesitation. Life is no different. In a world of darkness and unforseen circumstances, we are often lost and confused until we allow the light of Christ to shine within so that we can see clearly. The best thing about the light within, the light of Christ, is that not only can we find our way, but our light also directs others to the Source so that they can find theirs.
