A Word for Your Womb

The Water

I have been lax in my posting; waiting for God to give me something profound to say, something deep to share, something to really blow your mind. In the waiting I realized that God was speaking to me all along...I had not taken the time to listen.

Tonight God spoke to me in the shower as I waited for the water to warm. I know the water must run a few minutes before reaching a comfortable temperature, but my wait seemed like an eternity. As I patiently waited, I asked God for a word to share. I have always had a strange connection to water. I am inspired by the tranquil sounds. It reminds me of the Living Water that flows through me. In order for the Living Water to actively flow through me, I must allow it to move freely, that is without my direction or restraint. As I waited for the water to warm, God gave me a word to share...a mighty word entitled "My Hero". I immediately began praising Him, thanking Him for His awesome works and for allowing me to hear His voice.

As I wiped my tears, I felt His presence and heard Him say, "see what happens when you let the water run".

Speak Lord

There are times when we must be silent. Our silence is an act of humility and submission to His authority. With a closed mouth, and an opened heart...Lord here I am. Speak to me, I'm listening.

He's Able

My God is able to see the end from the beginning and bring resolve to any situation. He meets my needs, He feeds my soul, He exceeds my expectation.

He hears the desires of my heart, heals my wounds, cleansing every part.

He renews my spirit and calms my every fear, let's me feel His presence just so I'll know He's near.

He cares for me and protects me from all hurt and harm, He corrects me, chastises me, so to His will I conform.

All knowing, all powerful, a mighty God I serve. His love is bountiful and has no limits, sometimes I don't deserve.

Gracious and merciful, a forgiving God
is He. He is able and willing to be all that I need Him to be.

He's able...Yes, He is!

Tired

Have you ever been so tired that you couldn't think straight? ...tired in your mind, body, and spirit? The thoughts of your things to do list weakens you as you press your way through each day. Your heart is heavy from the weight of the world. The demands of others for your time and talents tug at your heart as you desire to please. But the pressure is just too much, it literally brings you to your knees.

Tired, tested, and tried...while challenging, these moments brings us closer to The Source of our supply. The One who is able to exceed our expectations and give us strength to continue. Call on Him...trust in Him. He can, He will strengthen your heart.

Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart. Psalm 27:14

Walking The Line

There is a fine line between who we are and who we say we are. There are times when we walk the line. The line between right and wrong, yes and no, truth and lie. It's amazing how God's love abounds even in the midst of our inconsistencies. It's time for us to crossover and live a life of consistent submission to His will, His way. Push...

We walk the line.

We dress to impress, we sin and don't confess, we give less than our best, yet His grace is always just...but we walk the line.

We call, He hears, He calms our fears, He dries our tears, throughout the years...but we walk the line.

In and out, out and in, He's closer than any friend, on Him we can depend...but we walk the line.

The right way, I may not always go, but there is one thing I know, His Word, His promises are so...He has no line.

Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble. 2Peter 1:10 NKJV

State of Confusion

ME… ME… ME is a state of confusion!  It’s so easy to get caught up in desires, ambitions, opinions and feelings that only benefit… ME.  But as the holiday season approaches, I find myself thinking of ways to be a blessing to someone other than ME.  We were created for great works; more than what our carnal minds can conceive.  These great works would enhance the Kingdom and direct all to the King.  That work cannot begin or be completed while we are wrapped up, tied up, and tangled up in ME…ME… ME.   It is impossible to please Him and work ‘the work’ in this state of confusion.  Forget about ME, ME is taken care of because HE promised.  HE is calling us to surrender.  HE has a specific plan and divine purpose for ME.  Moving forward, let us not lose sight of the ultimate goal, which is to live the life HE is calling us to live and fulfill the purpose that HE has designed for ME.

Something Special

When I graduated from high school, I was determined to be a powerful mover and shaker in corporate America...a force to be reckoned with... a big office, big title, and a high paying position.  My selfish ambitions ruled my world until I realized that status, titles, and positions meant nothing in the Kingdom of God.  As I grew in Christ, I learned that I am called to be a servant and it is my responsibility to serve in my church and in my community.  More importantly, I want my children to understand that life is not about "give me, give me" but rather the service we can render to others.  God has equipped each of us with "something special"  to bless others with.  Tap into your "something special" and be a blessing...everyday.

Can You Feel It?

I feel His presence inside out.  I feel His love, His peace, His forgiveness, His favor.  His presence is so powerful that just one word is not enough to capture its essence, its strength, its authority.  His presence has no limitations, His presences fills, refills, heals, forgives.  When God is present,  great things happen...

Like the cool breeze on a sunny day, it refreshes...

Like the sunshine after the rain, it renews...

Like a rainbow after a storm, it offers hope...

Like water in a dry place, it saturates...

Like the feeling of assurance after reading The Word, it satisfies

Can you feel it?  ...the presence of the Lord.
